Y&R Spoilers Update: Two Huge Romantic Decisions – Mother-Daughter Drama

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 22, reveal that a couple of significant romantic choices are on the way.

Y&R fans will see a mom help tackle a family problem as well, so some great stuff is on the way.

Now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) have taken a romantic leap together, they’ll talk about this development.

Stephanie and Nate are obviously more than friends now, but how exactly do they want to label their relationship?

That’s something Stephanie and Nate will have to nail down on Tuesday’s show. Nate and Stephanie are very interested in pursuing this spark, but they may not feel pressured to make a major commitment just yet.

That said, Stephanie and Nate may agree that dating feels right. It’s not like Nate and Stephanie have been showing interest in anyone else lately, so they might even agree to be exclusive and just see what happens from here.

As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll guard her heart a bit as she approaches Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) as his motel room. Matt will switch up his perspective and catch Phyllis by surprise.

It sounds like Matt will reveal that he’s been mulling it over and has decided to remain in Genoa City. Phyllis may wonder if she can really trust Matt to keep his word since he keeps promising he’ll stay and then threatening to leave!

Nevertheless, Matt may vow that he means it this time and work to convince Phyllis that he’s all in on their romance.

Phyllis will find Matt’s about-face perplexing and may fear Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is going to strike back if he’s abandoning her.

Of course, Matt may argue that he can use whatever trust he’s built with Patty to his advantage and set the trap they previously talked about. Despite Phyllis’ concerns, Matt will apparently determine that he doesn’t want to live without her.

At the tack house, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will grumble to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) over something related to Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).

Jordan will be a source of strife for Claire once more despite the fact that she’s supposedly dead and gone.

It’s possible Claire will face some work drama after her old partnership with Jordan comes back to bite her.

Maybe Claire will face a snag on a deal due to a client’s research about her past with her great-aunt.

Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will come to Claire’s rescue on Tuesday’s show, so stay tuned for any good news that’ll follow.
