Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Pushes Michael to Sabotage Victor, Stop Summers Conglomerate Takedown?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will settle into her new role at Summers Conglomerate and feel good about her future there.

Lauren is excited about this new chapter with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will hate to burst her bubble during the week of April 20-24.

That said, Michael will think it’s best to just rip the bandage off and let Lauren know what’s coming. There won’t be an easy way to break the news, so Y&R spoilers say Michael will just spill it as they sit down for dinner at the GCAC.

Michael will admit that Summers Conglomerate is going down, so Lauren will no doubt assume Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has something in the works. By then, Michael may be aware of whatever strategy Victor intends to throw at Phyllis next.

Phyllis stole the Newman empire, so it’s not surprising that Victor’s doing everything he can to get it back. Michael may point that out during his conversation with Lauren and suggest Victor has every right to fight for the Newmans’ company.

Even so, Lauren will be bummed at the thought of having to give up her new office and position at Summers Conglomerate. Despite the theft involved in Phyllis’ takeover, Lauren really does believe they’re on the verge of doing great things there.

Once Phyllis finds out that Victor’s cooking up trouble, she might pressure Michael to prove his loyalty to Lauren. Now that Lauren is a key player at Summers Conglomerate, Phyllis may argue that Michael should do everything he can to keep her happy.

Phyllis may insist that includes sabotaging Victor’s takedown plot and making sure she stays in charge of Summers Conglomerate for Lauren’s sake.

Of course, Michael might think it sounds more like Phyllis wants him to prove his loyalty to her instead!

Phyllis wouldn’t mind that either and may pressure Michael to put their friendship over whatever devotion he still feels toward Victor.

Michael may reject any sabotage plan Phyllis tries to push, but that probably won’t stop her from urging Michael to step up and intervene against Victor’s upcoming destruction.
