Patty feels confident that she can eventually win Jack over and tie the knot with him again, but she’s in for a rude awakening.
Jack has made it clear that he believes Patty is delusional and that he doesn’t buy her rehabilitation claims.
If Patty is behind Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) disappearance, then Jack will have yet another reason to loathe her.
Unlike Patty, Jack views their drugged night together on the yacht as a horrible mistake. There’s no way Jack is ever going to view Patty as a changed woman or someone he wants to build a life with.
If Patty is up to some kidnapping mischief involving Diane, then she’ll presumably keep her hands clean.
Patty doesn’t want to leave any trail behind that could put her in prison or back in a mental institution.
Even so, Jack will assume Patty’s responsible if this storyline turns into some Diane captivity drama. Diane might have to be rescued first, but her reunion with Jack indeed seems to be brewing.
At some point, Jack may burst Patty’s wedding dream bubble by renewing his vows with Diane instead. Perhaps Jack will convince Diane that they need a fresh start with some new promises to each other.
You can bet Patty will fume if she’s forced to watch Jack essentially tie the knot with Diane all over again.
That could be enough to send Patty tumbling over the edge and leave her more unhinged than ever. Patty could become an even bigger threat to contend with if Jack takes steps to prove Diane is his forever partner.
Regardless, Diane and Patty’s rivalry will bring some pretty intense moments in the months ahead.
Jack will remain tangled up in all the chaos, so Y&R fans won’t want to miss all the wild news and heated confrontations.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Patty will prove she hasn’t truly changed, but Diane will definitely find ways to strike back sooner or later!
