After Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) warned Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) that Patty was on the run Jack decided to shut her down once and for all. However, she refused to meet up with Jack thus foiling his plan.
Will Patty Escape Again?
At the same time, Matt is searching for a way to redeem himself—will Patty be the ticket? Matt and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) plotted a cockamamie scheme to redeem Matt that initially involved Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
They thought that Phyllis pretending to choke in front of Sharon, and Matt saving her, was a genius idea. But Patty’s visit waylaid Matt. Now he needs a new way to get the town to love him.
Will Patty target Diane and Jack?
What better way than to eliminate Patty once and for all? In the September 11 episode, Jack and his fam pretended that he had a medical crisis at Society. It was the only thing they could think of once Patty refused to meet with Jack.
When Jack collapsed on a luxury sofa, influencers immediately snapped his pic and no doubt the news will be all over town in a hot minute.
Patty’s Gambit
Once the news spreads that Jack is in bad shape, and presumably at the hospital, the Abbotts think she will creep in with a disguise and try to see him one last time.
It makes sense, since she tried to harm Jack there before she eventually harmed Diane and was taken into custody.
What Happens Next on Y&R?
Red hot Y&R spoilers indicate that Jack’s ruse pays off. If he’s in the hospital there will be police at every entrance and exit and grabbing Patty is a no brainer.
However, Patty has shown that she is a master manipulator who manages to slip away when the heat is on.
