The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate there’s a good chance that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) align to concoct a plan to destroy the Newmans.
Now that Matt has been released from custody, he’ll be foaming at the mouth for revenge, and Phyllis may feel the same way, very soon, so let’s unpack this possible storyline.
Phyllis Summers Is Pressed
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that while Phyllis has Newman Enterprises now, that might not be the case a week from now.
During the Tuesday, February 24 episode, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) returned from out of town, and while he didn’t say much, fans could sense that he had a solid plan in place to get Newman Enterprises back.
Phyllis also returned to town, from Italy, very upset as she tried to mend fences with Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier).
However, her daughter didn’t want anything to do with her. Phyllis has lost both her kids with this endeavor, so how upset will she be if she loses Newman, as well? Very upset!
The Matt Clark Factor
Imagine Phyllis learning that she’s lost to Victor, again. She may also stew about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) turning Summer against her, and how quickly Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) flipped on their friendship. What if she runs into Matt?
Could the two meet up at the bar at the GCAC? He may get a room at the hotel. Could they even be neighbors on the same floor?
Either way, they’ll quickly realize that their hate-on for the Newman Family is something they share in common. Will they decide to form an alliance to bring the family down? How ugly could the vengeance plot get?
