Jason Thompson Promises Better Days Ahead
According to actor Jason Thompson, who plays Billy Abbott on the hit CBS soap, he hinted that the new writing team on the soap is getting ready to take some of the storylines in a different direction. And yes, the viewers are very excited about it, too.
Billy talked a little about it in a new clip that he shared for his fans on social media. While he didn’t go into any details, the actor did suggest that he’s just excited about what’s in store for his character, too.
“For people that like Billy and you want exciting stories on The Young and the Restless, I’m telling you it’s only getting better. You’re in for a hell of a ride,” the actor said in his clip.
In other words, Jason understands that the viewers want to see the storylines go in a different direction and that yes, he also sees that some of the writing could use some improvement, too.
Clearly, many Y&R fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “I’m a Billy fan and want to see him finally win and turn a corner. I love him with Sally and want him to not revert to old Billy.”
