The Young and the Restless spoilers say that he might never get the answers that he’s looking for, no matter how hard he tries.
Clearly, we are talking about Devon (Bryton James) as it seems like he just can’t get over why Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) did what she did and took his son out for a joy ride that could have ended in the most tragic of ways.
Devon Needs To Get Over What Mariah Did
As many of our readers already know, Devon’s child was taken on a bizarre, confusing, week-long road trip without his permission. He had no idea what Mariah was doing or thinking, and he didn’t know if he would see his 7-year-old again.
So yes, Devon has every reason to be angry and horrified, but is it time for him to move on? He won’t be getting the answers that he believes he deserves at this point.
Of course, Y&R viewers certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Devon can be angry. He can be hurt. He can take his time to process and get the help HE definitely needs to work through a terrible ordeal. He doesn’t have to forgive Mariah now, or ever. He owes her nothing.”
What’s Next For Devon?
Another critic of the show wrote, “Mariah chose to take him. Sure. And she was also convinced that Dom was hers. That his place was with her, according to the continued brainwashing of the ghost in her mind.”
“The girl needs continued help and medication and all the things. Stop acting like she was in control of her actions. She wasn’t.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I think the hospital scene between them looks like a really positive step. It looks like the writers want to pull him out of the grumps eventually.”
