Y&R Spoilers: Amelia Heinle Confirms It: Kyle And Victoria Are Just Getting Started 

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that things are still heating up between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down anytime soon.

Their relationship is going to go to the next level this week, and we’re not sure whether or not we’re ready for this.

Heinle Was Caught Off Guard

Speaking with TV Insider, Heinle recounted speaking to Mealor, saying, “I don’t think they would ever put us together, but this is kind of funny because it feels like they’re trying to test our chemistry, which would be really, really odd.”

After walking off set another day after finishing a scene with Mealor, Heinle got called up to the executive producer’s office.

It was here that they announced to the two that they were going to be put in a romantic storyline with Mealor.

Once Heinle heard the storyline idea, she knew it could be interesting and thought about it more and more.

The Complications Are What Makes It Work

There are a lot of things that pop out for viewers: the age difference, he was married to her daughter, the list goes on. However, for Heinle, it’s all of these complications that will end up making the storyline interesting and different.

Later in her interview, she explained, saying, “I would think it would be fun to watch because this is something you would never have imagined happening to these two characters. The things that we say to each other are fun and cute, and it’s a real love affair. It’s really, really cool. The age difference and the family dynamic add a juicy layer to it, and it’s just going to get worse and better and all the things all at once.”

Certainly can’t argue with that logic. All of these oddities are sure to make the storyline interesting, but will it resonate with fans?

It seems like a shocking storyline for the sake of the shock. It sounds like they have a plan for a big payoff, so hopefully we’re in for something special.
