Also, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) gets an unexpected offer. Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.
Nick Newman’s Addiction
Let’s start off with Nick, who is trying to cover up an addiction. First, it was the pain pills. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) warned him to be careful, but he dismissed her concerns.
Now he is out of pain pills and has turned to fentanyl. The same fentanyl that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) gave him during Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) kidnapping. While everyone is noticing that Nick is acting a bit off, they don’t realize it’s fentanyl yet.
Trapping a Villain
As the week progresses, Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) attention will turn to Matt. The man was released and is now out there somewhere. Midweek, Nick and Sharon turn the tables on the villain.
Then, on Friday, Victoria helps Nick set a trap. I wonder if Nick will use his addiction to have Matt let his guard down.
Nick might be becoming an addict, but he’s not mentally there yet. So, there is still a chance that Nick’s mind will overpower his physical addiction.
Victor Newman Confronted
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of February 23 reveal that Victor will have multiple confrontations.
For one thing, he won’t tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) the truth about what he did while out of town.
Later in the week, Nate and Devon confront Victor about Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) disappearance.
Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s Opportunity
There is also Lauren, who gets some kind of unexpected opportunity. It’s been a while since Lauren was in a major story. T
his might be related to business. Perhaps it’s even some kind of collab offer from one of the power players in Genoa City.
When Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) first came to town, she worked for Lauren. The situation went south, but with the AI shenanigans, maybe Sally and Lauren will work together.
Sally might have acted like she didn’t care in front of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but the redhead does. That love for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has gone away, so stay tuned.
