Y&R News: Victoria Rowell Talks Relationship With Late Kristoff St. John

The Young and the Restless cast members were devastated in 2019 when Kristoff St. John passed away unexpectedly at 52 years old.

Although Victoria Rowell left the CBS soap opera several years before the Neil Winters’ portrayer’s death, she was still close to him and affected by his death.  Recently Rowell sat down for an interview and opened up about losing her close friend.

Victoria Rowell and Kristoff St. John were 90’s fan faves on The Young and the Restless.  Drucilla and Neil Winters were actually married twice on the soap.

Their first marriage was from 1993 – 1998.  In 2003 Rowell returned to the soap and Drucilla and Neil were married again, until the actress left again in 2008.

While Victoria and Kristoff played love interests on The Young and the Restless, they actually never dated in real life.

There was always speculation and rumors that they might be hooking up in real life, but that was never the case.  Rowell recently sat down and dished about her relationship with her late co-star in a new interview.

While chatting with Carlos King in an interview about being blackballed in Hollywood, Victoria Rowell brought up her friend and former co-star Kristoff St. John.  It’s no secret that the two stars were close in real life, and Victoria has spoken out before about losing the actor.

Rowell told Carlos King, “We were friends, we were more like siblings off camera. We were constantly laughing. We had so much fun!”

The former Drucilla portrayer added, “We saw each other off set. We talked about our families. We were both married, we both had children.  We were dealing with our separate family lives so we were able to talk about our real lives and balancing work and home.”
