Y&R Casting News: Roger Howarth Returns As Matt Clark

The Young And The Restless Casting News: Roger Howarth Returns As Matt ClarkThe Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that it’s only been weeks since Matt Clark wreaked havoc in the land of Genoa City, but it looks like both the character and Roger Howarth are headed back to storylines. Find out all the juicy details about Matt’s return below.

Matt Clark’s 2025 Return

Howarth made an explosive debut on the show in late October, under mysterious circumstances.

While fans initially met him as Mitch Bacall, the husband of Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), when Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) ran into him in Los Angeles, she shocked fans by declaring the man was the old rival of hers, and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow), Matt Clark.

Mitch/Matt befriended Shick’s son Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), who, in turn, ended up having an affair with his wife, Sienna.

After Noah’s car accident, which left him hospitalized (something Matt was behind), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) got involved, and the Newman family worked together to bring the man down.

Matt’s terror wrapped up in January of this year, when The Moustache decided to take care of Matt on his own. Matt was last seen being dragged off by Newman security after a heated encounter with Victor.

Instagram-Worthy

Rowarth hopped on Instagram, posting a photo to his Story on February 12. With U2’s “It’s a Beautiful Day” playing in the background, the picture was of his parked car, where The Young and the Restless’ studio is housed, Television City.

In a funny twist, his name was pluralized to “Rogers” for his parking spot. Oops on that typo, right?

As the CBS soap tapes several weeks ahead of time, Y&R viewers can expect to see the dastardly villain appear on the canvas sometime in March.

Howarth is a Daytime Emmy winner who is known for his roles in Life to Live, playing Todd Manning, as well as General Hospital, where he played Manning (briefly), as well as Franco Baldwin and Austin Gaitlin-Holt.
