Melanie McGuire’s name was plastered all over tabloids in every checkout aisle of your local supermarket two decades ago.
In 2004 the tiny nurse was arrested for murdering her husband William McGuire and cramming his body in to Kenneth Cole suitcases and throwing them in the Chesapeake Bay. As more details were revealed the case got even MORE disturbing.

Is The Jersey Suitcase Killer Still In Jail
The nation watched in horror as New Jersey cops pulled green Kenneth Cole suitcases out of the bay.
The murder victim was pieced back together by the coroner and it was revealed he was shot before he was dismembered, but they didn’t know who he was. A sketch was released to the public and the body was identified as William McGuire.
When the police tried to notify Melanie McGuire and tell her that her husband was murdered, they found her busy filing for divorce and living in a brand-spanking new house.
Melanie may have passed nursing school with flying colors but she certainly wasn’t a criminal mastermind.
The cops traced the bullets in William’s body back to Melanie’s gun and uncovered a blazing motive, she was having an affair for two years with someone at her job.
A month later Melanie was arrested for murder and in 2005 she was sentenced to life in prison.

Since she went to prison, Melanie still insists she is innocent and has filed several unsuccessful appeals. To this day she still resides at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility and she will be there for the rest of her life. You can write her a letter if that’s your kinda thing!
