Clearly, we are talking about The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden, who is best known for his role as Victor Newman on the hit CBS soap.

However, it seems like a lot of people are distancing himself more and more from the actor.

And that’s not because of his character on the canvas, but because of some of the statements that he’s made about the current political climate online.

In fact, it seems like a day doesn’t go by that Eric isn’t posting about the current administration and his thoughts about it.

Several years ago, Eric, who is often very vocal about politics on social media (and more so than about his job or daytime television), took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to gripe about the 2024 Presidential election.

That’s because it looks like former President Donald Trump will be facing off Joe Biden for the keys to the White House.

The actor put it this way, “And the ORANGE GUY calls our country a joke? He has made it so!!! That alone should make him persona non grata!

And now SENATOR NO, the guy who blocked more reasonable bills than any Senator in history, who after Jan 6 turned against the Orange guy, NOW is endorsing this walking disaster! You can’t make this s..t up!!”

Now, the interesting this is that a lot of people are now comparing Eric’s The Young and the Restless character Victor Newman to Donald Trump as well.

That’s because it seems like a lot of viewers are simply over the character and the Newman family as there’s just nothing good that comes out of them at all.

In fact, the tipping point seemed to be during one of the most recent episodes of The Young and the Restless when Victor told his granddaughter that, in several other words, accountability is for the weak. That seems to be the family motto for many long years now.
