King Charles’ family has always been keen to prove they are just like us. But, his nephew James (Earl Of Wessex) might be taking things a bit too far.
Queen Elizabeth’s youngest grandchild has apparently taken up an interesting career after graduating from college. Keep reading for all of the details.
Here’s What James Has Been Up To This Summer
The Earl Of Wessex is the son of King Charles’ brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie. 18 year old James just finished school, and doesn’t seem to be worried about taking his education any further.
After all, it doesn’t take a degree to muck out horse stalls. James has apparently taken a job this summer at the Sandringham Estate as a farmhand.
People Magazine reveals, “The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s son has been spotted working as a farmhand on the Sandringham estate in recent months.
James has been seen driving tractors and “mucking in,” surprising some of the longtime workers on King Charles’ Norfolk estate.”
James Is Making His Parents Proud
King Charles’ little brother and his wife Sophie have always prided themselves on raising their children outside of the spotlight.
Like Prince Andrew’s daughters, Prince Edward’s children are simply earls and not anywhere close to taking the throne.
In interviews over the years, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have discussed how hard they work to give heir children normal lives.
A few years ago James’ mother Sophie even made comments about teaching their children “earn their own living.” Of course, it’s much easier for them than it is for King Charles’ kids and grandkids.
