The GH Return That Nobody Asked For

There are a lot of General Hospital villains that we hated to see go.  Fans are always clamoring for some questionable characters to be brought back.

But, literally no one had been wishing for the writers to bring back baddie Peter August.

In fact, we’re pretty sure the General Hospital villain was voted one of the most disliked soap characters of all time.  Nonetheless, Wes Ramsey made an unexpected return this week on the ABC soap.  Keep reading for all the details!

Wes Ramsey Back In Action

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) just convinced her doctors and family that she’s magically healed and can return home from the mental hospital.

When it was revealed that Anna wasn’t being paranoid and was right about Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) all along, the doctors decided to discharge her and send her home to Port Charles.

Little does Anna’s friends and family know, she’s far from healed.  Actually, Anna Devane is certifiably insane and seems to be taking orders from an imaginary Peter August.

The former police commissioner was alone in her hospital room and began hallucinating that her dead nephew was right there with her!  Even worse, imaginary Peter seems to be controlling Anna!

Brainwashed Anna Is Out For Blood

According to General Hospital spoilers, Peter August is going to be a key player in Anna Devane’s upcoming storyline this summer.

Apparently, Peter has convinced Anna that she has to go kill someone when she returns to Port Charles.

If someone doesn’t realize that Anna’s not acting herself, there’s no telling what imaginary Peter will tell her to do.

Peter August was a horrible guy when he was alive, we can only imagine what kind of shenanigans he is cooking up from beyond the grave.
