The 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards: Where & When To Watch

October is right around the corner and that means the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards will be held soon in Hollywood, California.

The NATAS already revealed this year’s list of daytime nominees, and has a special tribute planned for General Hospital fan fave Genie Francis (Laura Spencer). Keep reading for all the details and to find out when and where to watch the Daytime Emmy’s this year!

When Are The Daytime Emmy Awards

The 53rd Annual Daytime Emmys will be held on Sunday October 30, 2026.  Sadly the awards show is no longer televised, however fans can still tune in and watch the event live.

According to an official statement from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, you can watch your favorite soap stars receive their awards on the official Emmy’s app (available in your phone’s app store).

The 2026 Daytime Emmy Award Winners

So far NATAS has still not announced this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards host.  Last year Mario Lopez did the honors, but it’s unclear if he will be returning to the stage or someone else has been chosen.

The Daytime Emmy Awards Winner List won’t be available until after the ceremony airs live on Sunday October 30.  All eyes are on the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series category this year.

General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and new series Beyond The Gates were all nominated to take home the honor this year.

Fans were shocked when the nominees list was released in July and The Bold and the Beautiful was noticeably missing from the category.
