Soap Favs Jon Lindstrom and Cady McClain Officially Divorced

According to TMZ, Beyond the Gates stars and soap opera fan favorites, Cady McClain (Pamela Curtis) and Jon Lindstrom (Joey Armstrong) have reached a divorce agreement. Details on this below.

Their Marriage

Lindstrom and McClain said their “I do’s” on Valentine’s Day in 2014. The two worked together on As the World Turns (ATWT) from 2008 to 2010, as McClain played Rosanna Cabot and Lindstrom played Craig Montgomery.

Both soap stars have had incredible careers in the land of daytime drama over the years. In addition to ATWT, McClain has worked on shows like All My Children, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and now Beyond the Gates in a recurring role.

Meanwhile, Lindstrom is best known for his role in General Hospital, playing twins Ryan Chamberlain and Kevin Collins. Linstrom was also on Santa Barbara. He is currently a pivotal player when it comes to BTG storylines.

McClain and Lindstrom separated in December 2023 and released a statement about it in April 2024. The two soap stars have remained friends and have since become castmates on Beyond the Gates.

Their Divorce Agreement

As per TMZ reports, Lindstrom and McClain have waived their rights to spousal support. Each will keep their own personal properties and assets.

Their divorce agreement is as straightforward as one can get! While the divorce is official, it looks like the two will continue on amicable terms, which is a nice thing to see.

McClain is a three-time Daytime Emmy winner, snagging the award in 1990, 2004, and 2021. Her 1990 win in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress was for her role on AMC as Dixie Cooney.

Meanwhile, her 2004 win was for her ATWT role, in the Supporting Actress category, and her 2021 win was for playing Jennifer Deveraux on Days of Our Lives, in the Guest Performer category.

Meanwhile, Lindstrom has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy four times, once for a role on ATWT, and three times for his work on General Hospital.
