After Prince Harry declared “Prince of England” as one of his occupations, I think it’s safe to say we’ve gotten to the point where it’s okay to play the “what does Harry want?” game.
The former senior working royal returned to the UK this summer for a number of engagements and a reunion with his father.
However, it was his current podcast appearance that made people doubt whether his life in America was all that it was advertised to be.
See, since Harry and Meghan fled to America, we’ve been told that the couple has smoothly transitioned into a private and more joyous life in their grand Montecito mansion.
But perhaps, this is all smokes and mirrors and Harry is actually yearning to return to the life he abandoned?
Media Personality Claims Prince Harry Misses “His Former Life in the UK”
Prince Harry’s trip to the UK was nostalgic in more ways than one. One of the reasons I say this is because of the way he tried to reincarnate the “smiling Prince” image by being all giggly and playful during his public engagements.
Then of course in the podcast appearance we can’t seem to stop talking about, he mentioned “Prince of England” and “Duke” as among his occupations.
This unfortunately signaled to fans that Harry is an unsatisfied Prince desperate to get back the life he once-upon-a-time fled from. And media personality Dan Wakeford seems to agree with this sentiment.
“Harry particularly doesn’t love the life he has in America,” Wakeford said, noting that “he misses his family, his friends and his former life in the UK,” as per information leaked by insiders.
The journalist then added: “Harry would be content to downsize and have a smaller life instead of living on such a grand scale, but I think that is more Meghan’s style.”
“Harry and Meghan’s life is very different from what they expected in America, from what they hoped for,” Wakeford said. “What has shifted significantly is the gap between what they said they were building and what they actually built. They left the royal family to become financially independent.”
“The headline numbers of $100 million from Netflix deals and $20 million for Spotify always obscured what the real figures were,” the expert shared.
This is coming as news recently surfaced that Netflix has completely cut ties with the Sussexes due to poor work ethics.
Royal Expert Says Prince Harry Misses “Friends” In the UK
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams also agreed that Harry likely misses certain “aspects of life in the U.K. and the friends he has kept there.”
“He has charities he supports there, and his mother is buried there. While he had a difficult week during his visit, the meeting with the king and his family was a positive,” Fitzwilliams reasoned.
So what do you think? Does his candid ‘Joe Marler Will See You Now’ podcast interview really signal a desire for a royal comeback? Do you think he dropped the hint during his chat with his father, King Charles? Let us know in the comments.
