It’s been confirmed: Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their two young children are gearing up for a UK return this summer.
It will be Meghan and the kids’ first time in the UK since they attended Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum jubilee, which took place in 2022.
Even though Harry and Meghan are making the trip to engage in Invictus Games countdown activities, they’re also hoping for some family bonding time.
After all, we’ve often heard how Harry mourns the fact that his children are growing up without any cousin interactions.
But will they be able to get enough playtime to properly bond with these overseas cousins? Or rather, will the cousins even be there to greet them?
Prince William and King Charles Have Opposite Views On How To Handle the Prince Harry Situation
After their bombshell Oprah tell-all, ‘Spare,’ Netflix’s ‘Harry and Meghan,’ and so many other appearances and interviews that include one or two Royal Family put-downs, Prince Harry now feels that reconciliation is within his grasp.
The messy side is maybe finally behind them, everyone has moved on, and maybe peace can reign once again.
Well, he’s got a brother who doesn’t think the same way he does, even though he’s made several calls to said brother to get him to jump into the love train.
Per a source speaking to Radar Online, Harry’s olive beanches are all being silently rejected. “William won’t be seeing his brother. I suspect he will make sure he’s miles away when Harry visits to avoid any awkward encounters,” the insider said, adding, “Harry has tried to make contact repeatedly, but William won’t take his calls.”
On top of not being “minded to a reconciliation at all,” William is also said to be against the way his father is bending over backwards to welcome them back. “William is known to hold a grudge, whereas Charles just wants peace,” a source shared. “They come to the Harry situation from different perspectives. Charles is of the view that one must forgive and move on. William won’t do that. Not yet and maybe never.”
One of the ways Charles is welcoming the Sussexes back is by helping them plan their security arrangements. He is even said to have offered them a royal residence for the entire duration of their stay.
