Nickelodeon Child Star Killed In Brooklyn, NYPD Searching For Clues

The Nickelodeon family suffered a devastating loss this week.  Former child actor Kianna Underwood was reportedly killed in Brownsville on Friday January 16, and the NYPD is still searching for answers. 

No arrests have been made as of yet and no one has been identified, but the cops are hoping the media attention will encourage witnesses to come forward with any information.  

Underwood died unexpectedly early Friday morning in Brooklyn when she was crossing the street and hit by an unidentified driver.  After the initial accident, the driver drove off and didn’t stop to help the actress.  Then another car came through and hit Underwood again, and that driver kept going as well.  

Former Nickelodeon Actress Dead

People Magazine reported, “Underwood was crossing the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., when a black Ford SUV hit her around 6:50 a.m. local time, the New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed. 

 She was then subsequently struck by a black and gray sedan, authorities said, adding that Underwood was pronounced dead at the scene.”  

Kianna Underwood appeared in a popular skit on Nickelodeon’s “All That” back in 2005, along side fan fave Kenan Thompson. 

Those scenes are still shared in memes on social media often.  Underwood also was a talented voice actress, and was the voice of “Fuschia” on Little Bill for several years.  

Kianna Underwood’s Killers Just Kept Going

Brownsville is not a small area, and even at 6:50 in the morning there are people bustling down the street and business opening up. 

It’s hard to fathom that Kianna Underwood was hit by TWO different people and neither of them stopped and tried to assist her. 

The accident was only 48 hours ago, there should be some sort of video camera footage from nearby businesses or street cameras that will provide some sort of lead.
