Taylor Frankie Paul was supposed to be this year’s hot new ‘Bachelorette,’ until she did a thing and found herself dangling hot in the frying pan.
Cancelling her season of ‘The Bachelorette’ aside, Paul is now being ripped open by her fellow ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ stars. Here’s what they said about Paul’s shocking actions.
‘Mormon Stars’ Denounce Taylor Frankie Paul’s Actions
Miranda Hope McWhorter and Layla Taylor have both chosen to publicly break their silence on Taylor Frankie Paul’s viral video.
This viral video, released by TMZ, shows Paul attacking her ex-boyfriend, Dakota. Mere hours after the footage started circulating online, ABC announced that it would no longer be moving forward with Paul’s season of ‘The Bachelorette.’
Her actions also affected the filming of the fifth season of ‘Mormon Wives,’ which was halted so that the Utah police could launch a domestic assault investigation.
As if the public fallout and the ensuing consequences weren’t enough, Paul is now suffering the tongue-lashing of her fellow co-stars.
Without directly naming Paul, both McWhorter and Taylor became the first ‘Mormon Stars’ to share their opinion on Paul’s “heavy to see” actions.
“Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously,” McWhorter said via her Instagram story, adding, “As a human, and especially a mother, I cannot support that kind of behavior.” She concluded by saying that “heart is with the children in this.”
Taylor followed up with a strongly worded statement of how she stands “firmly against domestic violence in any form.” However, even amid the chaos, she remembered to put Paul’s children “in her thoughts, hoping for their safety above all else.”
Paul shares two children with her ex-husband, Tate Paul, and 23-month-old son Ever with Dakota. Hours before jetting off to film her season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ she hooked up with Dakota, who she reportedly started dating in the first place because they “trauma bonded.”
How Is Taylor Frankie Paul’s Scandal Affecting ‘Mormon Wives’
At the moment, insiders are convinced many of Paul’s former co-stars have come forward to express their doubts over filming with her.
The Hulu docuseries also stars Whitney Leavitt, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, Layla Taylor, Miranda McWhorter and Demi Engemann.
“The [Mormon Wives] cast is afraid of losing more brand deals and money,” an insider spilled, further claiming that should filming resume, everyone is afraid season 5 will inevitably end up being their last hurrah.
“No one is speaking to Taylor right now and they are all livid,” the insider added. “It’s a nightmare behind the scenes right now.”
