Meghan Markle’s ‘Her Best Life’ Retreat Faces Setbacks Amid Security Fears and Slow Ticket Sales

For a few days in April, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be heading to Australia for a series of engagements that ranges from business to charity.

One of the business aspects of this trip is Meghan’s $3000 girl retreat, poignantly titled ‘Her Best Life.’ An infinity pool and many leisure activities are promised. Sadly, even with all the promised luxuries, concerns still remain over the fact that tickets are not selling out as fast as advertised.

Issues Facing Meghan Markle’s Three-day Retreat Explained

Meghan Markle has carefully planned a three-day retreat that will give fans a taste of luxury and a tiny glimpse into her world.

One of the major earlier concerns was that the venue, which is still under renovation, may not be complete in time for the retreat.

The venue, the InterContinental Hotel located in Sydney, reported delays in renovating its luxury features, including the infinity pool and the promised bar.

In addition to this, it’s speculated that Meghan may soon be forced to slash ticket prices for the event, over low ticket sales. Tickets for the event originally go from $1,900 to over $3,000 for VIP packages.

However, even though it was supposed to field only three hundred or so seats, plenty of spots are still available as public interest has simply been very low.

This must be jarring for the Sussex couple, considering the level of positive reception they received during their first and only tour of Australia in 2018.

At the time, mind you, they were still working royals, and the Oprah tell-all, ‘Spare,’ ‘Harry and Meghan,’ and the likes hadn’t yet happened.

These days, with their very public fallout from the British Monarchy, it’s not exactly hard to understand why the reception would be lukewarm, considering that Australia is still a Commonwealth nation.

Nevertheless, reports state that Meghan is committed to making her three-day retreat a stuff to be remembered.

Kicking off on April 17, and running to the 19th, Meghan is offering her guests the chance to be in a a group photo with her, alongside “a relaxed time by the pool overlooking Coogee Beach.”
