Meghan Markle Declines Multi-Million Memoir Offers to Protect Royal Standards

It seems like Meghan Markle has overruled the idea of penning a memoir that might possibly nuke the royals in all the wrong places.

According to a source speaking to OK! Magazine, Meghan is not keen on poking the royals again, especially since the heat from their last campaign has only just recently died down.

Meghan Markle Won’t Be Doing This To Prevent Further Fallout With the Royal Family

Meghan Markle has reportedly received several multi-million dollar offers to write a memoir about her short-lived time as a working member of the British Royal Family.

But while the advance may be enough to make one salivate and lose their senses, Meghan is said to have humbly turned down the offers to prevent another major fallout with the royals.

“Meghan and Harry are cautious about everything they do and say to uphold the standards of the monarchy. Those [memoirs] are the types of projects they don’t want to do,” the OK! Magazine source shared.

In fact, according to the source, the Sussexes’ present mindset is to do their utmost not to upset the Royals.

“They do the best they can not to upset the royals,” they said, adding, “Everyone who goes into business with them knows there are constraints, but it hurts the project’s creativity. They are adamant about having creative control and final edit and what they can’t say limits things.”

However, another insider claimed that publishing a memoir would be easy money for the Duchess, because “It is the one area where Meghan has a lot of financial clout.”

Adamant that book publishing won’t be where her next big money-maker comes from, Meghan is reportedly planning to rebrand to the parenting category.

This does not mean that her eyes won’t still be on the lifestyle category, what with As Ever and her Instagram account all set up around the niche. It just means that she’s giving the niche a little wiggling room, so that she can continue to grow her brand.

In addition to her lifestyle brand, with her ‘Her Best Life’ retreat taking place in Sydney, Australia, Meghan might eventually dip her toes into large event hosting, as well as making guest appearances at notable lifestyle-themed events.
