Marissa Reyes Sets The Record Straight On Her Days of Our Lives Exit

Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Wednesday, March 25 marked Marissa Reyes’ last day in Salem as Arianna “Ari” Horton.

The actress has left the Peacock soap and recently set the record straight regarding her exit.

Marissa Reyes Talks DOOL Exit

Reyes hopped on Instagram and uploaded a carousel of behind-the-scenes pictures and videos with Days cast and crew, including Hank Northrop (Liam Selejko), Ari’s onscreen best friend Ashley Puzemis (Holly Jonas), as well as her onscreen mom, Cheri Jimenez (Gabi Hernandez).

In the caption of the post Reyes writes, “In honor of my final episode of @dayspeacock airing this week, I thought that I’d share some memories from my wrap day! :’)”

The actress adds, “It has been an absolute honor to be a part of such a legacy, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for what this opportunity has taught and given me. Although it was my choice—and mine alone—to make my exit from the show, I will always look back on this chapter with complete and honest gratitude and affection.”

The IG caption concluded with, “It’s bittersweet to see the end of this chapter, but I am over the moon excited to welcome in the next. Here’s to what’s coming!!”

The Comment Section Was Fire

Fans hit the comment section, as well as some of Reyes Days colleagues. Hank Northrop wrote, “Marissa!!

You bring sunshine into every room and it was an absolute privilege and joy to work with you! I already know you’re a superstar, but I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! Ari + Liam.”

Meanwhile, Jimenez added, “My beauty. My soulmate. I love you forever,” while Puzemis commented with, “My soul sister for life now the best thing this show brought me was our friendship and you truly are a star! Cheering you on for everything that will come your way.”

In addition, Abigail Klein (Stephanie Johnson) wrote, “Forever smitten with you!!!” as Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera) commented with a hands-up emoji, fire emoji, and heart emoji.

Reyes joined the cast as Gabi and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) daughter in 2025. An Ari Horton recast is slated to appear sometime in April.
