Kendra Duggar Arrested – Ties ‘19 Kids and Counting’ Star To Husband Joseph Duggar Drama

Kendra Duggar arrested, wife of Joseph Garrett Duggar, star of “19 Kids And Counting” will be charged along with her husband after his Arkansas arrest on March 18 for child molestation in Florida. Kendra was arrested on March 20 in connection with the case.

“Both Joseph Duggar, 31, and Kendra Duggar, 27, have been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of false imprisonment in Arkansas, the Tontitown Police Department announced on Friday, March 20.”

Joseph Duggar Is Being Held Without Bail

Kendra was arrested while Joseph is being held without bail at the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas while awaiting extradition to Florida to face charges there.

Joseph was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving sexual activity with a 14-year-old female victim who was nine at the time of the alleged incident, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.

Kendra has been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment all in the second degree.

The arresting agency was the Tonitown Police Department and her mugshot was released a few hours after her arrest.

Kendra was booked into the Washington County Detention Center at 4:56 p.m. local time and released at 6:19 p.m.

Limited Information Is Being Released

“The police department noted that the investigation remains “active and ongoing,” adding that Arkansas law limits the amount of information that can be publicly released in cases involving minors and other sensitive circumstances.

The department representative says, “To protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved, no further details will be provided at this time.”

According to People, the latest filing brings four additional counts of each charge against the former 19 Kids and Counting star, on top of the two previously filed he was already facing including lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old, and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. These are Kendra’s first charges in the case.

Joseph Duggar And Kendra Duggar’s Family

Joseph and Kendra were married in September 2017, about four months after announcing their courtship. The couple are parents to four kids.

Joseph is the seventh of 19 Kids from the “19 Kids And Counting” fame. Joseph proposed to Kendra at his sister Joy-Anna’s wedding and admitted that he was very nervous.

Joseph told People at the time, “I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!” Kendra added, “I’m so happy and so shocked. There’s so many words I want to say, but just shocked.” The couple now have four children, a son Garrett, born June 2018, daughter Addison, born November 2019, daughter Brooklyn, born February 2021, and son Justus, born 2022.
