General Hospital rumors have been circulating that Ric Lansing, played by Rick Hearst, could leave the soap.

With that said, nothing has been confirmed; however, some recent scenes do seem to hint that something terrible might be on the horizon for the once-devious lawyer who has changed for the better.

General Hospital spoilers for the Friday, April 10 episode confirm that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ric had a rather heartwarming discussion.

Still, Sonny’s words raised major red flags for longtime fans who know the drill when it comes to these types of scenes.

As Ric was leaving Sonny’s mansion, the mob boss talked about the situation with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and how important it was to keep his family protected.

Ric joked that there was one member of the family that Sonny could lose, and that’s him.

Sonny then insisted that he didn’t want to lose Ric, which is when Lansing pointed out that it was because of his legal skills as a lawyer. This is when Sonny stated it was because Ric was his brother.

While the sentiment was sweet, it almost felt like an ominous foreshadowing trouble or danger ahead for Ric.

Is Ric Lansing Exiting?

While rumors have been buzzing on the web about Ric Lansing’s possible exit, it’s important to note that nothing has been announced by either the ABC soap or Rick Hearst.
