Sure, Victor is the kind of villain that you love to hate, but at the same time, there seems to be very few redeemable qualities about the character. You either love him or you love to hate him.

Because if and when Victor does pass away, is anyone really going to miss him? Or are they going to say good riddance while he’s on his way out? That’s what critics want to know.

Clearly, The Young and the Restless fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “They need to fix Victor’s character before he passes. He’s been written so poorly the last decade. This is a complicated man capable of great generosity and great evil. We have only seen the evil part and it’s not consistent with who he is.”

“There is only a small amount of time to fix this and give him a proper ending.”

Another critic wrote, “He’s one of the greatest villains of all time. One of my favorite scenes in any medium is him destroying Brad and Jack’s portrait and telling them he would break them for taking over Newman.”
