Glee Returning To TV With All New Episodes

It has been a decade since the Glee series finale aired on FOX back in March of 2015.  The series became a pop culture icon and rumors have hinted for years that the popular show was getting a reboot.  Now we can confirm that a Glee revival is happening, keep reading for all of the details!

Glee Reboot Ordered

After years of reboot rumors, Glee fans finally have something to celebrate.  According to a new report, a revival of the hit show has been ordered and will be appearing on Hulu and Disney +.

The new Glee show is in the VERY early stages, and it’s unclear if they will bring back returning cast members or hire new actors to play the old characters.

After being off the air for a decade, some of the old actors have left Hollywood or passed away.  Fan faves Cory Monteith, Mark Stalling, and Naya Rivera all sadly passed away after the show went off the air.

What Glee Cast Members Will Return

TV Line’s spoilers reveal, “Ryan Murphy confirmed that he had already “been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members.” Naturally, “they all had a lot of questions” about how their characters would fit into the new show, “but they were all very enthusiastic about the idea.”

Ryan Murphy also revealed to the website that he has already wrote the script for the first episode.

Now, TPTB will have to move on to casting calls for the series.  More than likely, official members of the cast will start being revealed in early 2027.  If the showrunner makes the reboot a priority, we could see new Glee episodes by late 2027 or early 2028.
