B&B Spoilers: Brooke Sets Her Sights On Bill – Is Katie’s Marriage At Risk?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is attempting to prevent Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) from targeting Forrester Creations.

However, Brooke’s behavior is precisely what’s driving Katie to destroy the company.

Key Takeaways

  • Brooke turns to Bill to control Katie.
  • Katie vows to destroy Forrester Creations.
  • Zende’s departure fuels the family feud.
  • Bill’s loyalty could threaten his marriage.
  • Brooke may revive an old romantic scheme.

Brooke Crossed A Line By Going To Bill

This week, Brooke crossed a line by enlisting Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to help manage Katie.

The question is: Is Brooke using Bill and Katie’s marriage as a tool for revenge over the accusations she’s leveled at her sister?

Katie has grown weary of Brooke’s blame and vows to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) that she’ll bring Forrester Creations down.

As the latest weekly preview reveals, Brooke’s interference is only intensifying Katie’s determination to fight back.

This declaration appears to have been triggered by Brooke inviting Bill to her home and manipulating him into compliance.

Brooke’s fury stems from Zende Forrester’s (Delon de Metz) resignation from Forrester Creations.

Brooke And Ridge Blame Katie For Luring Zende To Logan

Naturally, Brooke and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) point fingers at Katie for enticing Zende away.

Yet Brooke, Ridge, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Eric Forrester (John McCook) consistently dodge responsibility whenever talent leaves Forrester Creations.

It’s simply more convenient to scapegoat Katie.

Notably, Zende explicitly told Ridge and Eric that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) would have remained loyal to Forrester had they not repeatedly marginalized her.

He further emphasized that his departure stemmed from Ridge’s unjustifiable promotion of RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) over him—a clear case of nepotism.

The situation worsens because Eric continues fabricating his own narrative about joining Logan, claiming he demanded Katie hire him.

Eric’s Story Is A Complete Fabrication

According to Eric, he sought payback against Brooke and Ridge for disrespecting him.

Clearly, the Forrester family is trapped in profound denial.

After confronting Katie, Brooke returned to Forrester Creations and adopted a victim persona when speaking with Ridge.

She told Ridge that Katie stole her daughter and her name, insisting she’s stayed on the moral high ground.

However, Brooke’s track record—slapping Katie, destroying property at Hope’s launch, and attempting another assault on Katie—hardly demonstrates taking the high road.

Brooke Shifts The Blame To Katie

Brooke shifted the blame entirely onto Katie, claiming it’s her responsibility, not Bill’s, despite both Brooke and Ridge previously insisting Bill manipulated Katie into her current stance.

This contradiction reveals their blame-shifting tactics.

Ridge emphasized the urgency of doing whatever it takes to save Forrester Creations.

After texting Bill to come over, Brooke reflected on Ridge’s words while waiting.

When Bill arrived, she asked for his help controlling Katie, urging him to stop her actions.

Surprisingly, Bill returned to Katie and suggested they ease up on Forrester Creations.

Katie was taken aback and visibly frustrated.

As Bill and Brooke’s secret meeting threatens to enrage Katie, Brooke’s strategy could have the opposite effect from what she intended.

Katie Wants To Know What Changed

Katie demanded answers about what changed.

Brooke’s interaction with Bill seems designed to manipulate him into complying with her agenda—possibly the start of a larger scheme.

However, Brooke’s strategy likely won’t succeed.

When Bill reveals he visited Brooke’s house, Katie will react with anger.

She won’t back down. Instead, she’ll probably double down.

Yet realistically, Forrester Creations possesses considerable advantages: decades of industry expertise, exceptional design talent, and powerhouse leaders in Ridge and Eric.

Forrester Creations Is An Established Global Presence

Forrester Creations possesses exceptional materials and an established global presence, yet Katie’s modest startup poses no genuine threat on paper.

The real issue is that Forrester Creations is self-destructing through mistreatment of employees and talent loss, which is also damaging its brand image.

Should Brooke fail to achieve her objectives through her initial attempt to manipulate Bill, she may resort to even more questionable tactics, especially given Ridge’s encouragement to pursue any means necessary.

Brooke accuses Katie of pillaging Forrester Creations, claiming she’s taken Hope, Zende, and even the Logan family name.

However, Brooke’s own history shows a similar pattern.

She repeatedly lured Ridge away from Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and, decades ago, stole him from Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson).

Brooke Seduced Eric Away From Stephanie And Deacon Away From Bridget

Brooke seduced Eric away from his wife, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).

She enticed Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) away from Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones)—and Bridget is her daughter!

She’s also taken Bill from Katie on multiple occasions.

Brooke’s complaints about theft are deeply ironic given her track record.

She might conclude that Katie must be eliminated as a business rival at any cost.

Brooke could potentially use Bill as a pawn to deliberately sabotage Katie’s marriage and deliver a harsh lesson.

Her reasoning might be that if Bill and Katie’s relationship crumbles, Logan will collapse entirely.

Problem solved.

Bill has maintained a longstanding interest in dismantling the Forrester empire.

Suggesting Katie Back Off Is Absurd

His suggestion that Katie should back off is absurd.

However, Brooke has a masterful understanding of how to manipulate Bill and could easily win him over again.

Katie will eventually catch on.

Anticipate Katie confronting Bill, accusing him of being manipulated, and claiming Brooke is exploiting him.

Bill’s substantial pride, though, might prevent him from acknowledging the truth.

Despite being happily married to Ridge, Brooke could attempt to seduce Bill away from Katie, believing she can drive a wedge between them without technically crossing the line into infidelity.

Brooke might scheme to win Bill’s affection, then taunt Katie by asking, “What’s it like to have something taken away from you?”

And with Katie already seeing through Brooke’s manipulation, another attempt to interfere in her marriage could ignite an even bigger confrontation.

This Wouldn’t Be The First Time Brooke And Bill Played This Game

This wouldn’t be the first time Brooke and Bill played this game with Katie caught in the middle, stopping short of actually consummating their relationship.

You might recall what happened a decade ago, though Brooke says that’s ancient history by now, doesn’t she?

Back in 2016, during Bill’s previous marriage to Katie, he constructed a hidden room at Spencer Publications adjacent to the office that he claimed was designed for rest and mindfulness.

Bill secretly brought Brooke into that space, and they engaged in intimate activities, but Brooke and Bill stopped short of taking it all the way.

Brooke And Bill Convinced Themselves It Wasn’t Really Cheating

Brooke and Bill convinced themselves it wasn’t truly infidelity.

And that’s the argument Brooke tried to make to Katie when she discovered them and confronted her angrily.

Brooke claimed it wasn’t significant because they hadn’t gone all the way.

However, it absolutely was a big deal.

Katie called out Brooke for her deception, dishonesty, and participation in an emotional affair.

Yet it extended beyond that.

Bill and Brooke kissed, caressed, and stopped just before crossing the final threshold.

Brooke Might Sabotage Katie’s Marriage Without Risking Her Own

Brooke may believe she can sabotage Katie’s marriage without jeopardizing her own with Ridge, provided Bill doesn’t become physically involved with her.

She’s determined to destroy Katie’s plans.

Upcoming spoilers hint at a significant storyline for Brooke with major repercussions—one she won’t navigate alone.

While Brooke and Katie’s conflict is familiar territory, a renewed Brooke-Bill dynamic would add another dangerous twist.

Should Brooke cross boundaries with Bill seeking revenge—even stopping short of a physical affair—the fallout will be severe.

Katie will rage at Bill, and Ridge may reject this behavior from Brooke.

Yet Brooke may underestimate Ridge’s limits, banking on her usual ability to manipulate him.

Annemarie’s Take

I think Brooke is making a huge mistake by involving Bill in her feud with Katie.

Katie has every right to be furious. Brooke has interfered in her marriage before, and now she’s doing it again while claiming to be the innocent party.

And frankly, Forrester Creations needs to stop blaming Katie for every employee who decides to leave. Maybe Ridge and Eric should ask themselves why their own people are walking away!

If Brooke tries to use Bill romantically to hurt Katie, I hope Katie refuses to let her get away with it this time.

Do you think Brooke is deliberately trying to destroy Katie’s marriage, and will Bill finally stand up to her?
