No matter what your opinion may be of him, there’s no doubt that he’s one of the most successful soap stars. And that’s not because of his earnings, but because of the way he’s managed to bounce back in his life.

For anyone who has been paying attention, they will know that Steve has not only had a very good year, but a fantastic one. And that’s all because he’s managed to not only stay true to himself, but to his heart as well.

During the beginning of 2025, Steve announced his engagement to Michelle Lundstrom. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony and now seem to be living their best lives.

Previously, Steve was in the headlines after his wife Sheree announced her pregnancy back in 2022.

What’s Next For Steve Burton?

But unfortunately, the baby was not his even though he and Sheree were still married. She got pregnant by another man at the time.

And while there’s no doubt that things are going very well for Steve on the personal front, he’s also had a lot of success professionally, too.

While other stars have burned bridges, Steve has used them to get back to where he was before.

Back in 2021, the actor was fired from General Hospital for not complying with the ABC network’s mandatory vaccine mandate at the time.

In fact, both he and his former co-star Ingo Rademacher were both let go from the show at the very same time.

While Ingo tried to put up a fight with the ABC network, Steve managed to get another job at Days of Our Lives. It didn’t take very long for him to bounce back to General Hospital a few years later, where he’s been ever since.

Unfortunately for Ingo, he’s still out of work. Another General Hospital star, Kelly Monaco, was also let go from the show last year. And just like Ingo, she’s been having a very hard time finding a job in the entertainment industry as well.
