The actor, who is best known for his role as Sonny Corinthos, is once again opening up about his long career and everything he’s been through, both personally and professionally, on his YouTube mental health series, State of Mind.

The actor recently took to his Instagram account to share, “3 DECADES GENERAL HOSPITAL. I thought it would be nice to have a discussion on what i feel about my three decades of @generalhospitalabc.”

Maurice continued, “I have been here more than half my life. I’ve been through hell and back, I have worked with some of the best actors in the business, not to mention ,producers, writers and directors. I can’t believe I’m still standing. And still going Strong.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for many of his fans and followers to share their comments. Some even wrote, “Best decision the casting directors made when they chose you to play Sonny and you haven’t disappointed. Thanks for all you do to bring Sonny alive. You are loved by many.”

Another fan wrote, “I’ve love how you taught me strength to overcome any obstacle in our way by being a fighter and not looking Back and not letting us get to fourth or fifth gear . You are my inspiration. Now you are grandpa. I love seeing you with your kids and your beautiful grandkids.”
