GH Spoilers: Willow’s Secret Stays Buried — Until Drew Unearths It?

General Hospital Spoilers: Willow's Secret Stays Buried — Until Drew Unearths It?General Hospital spoilers spill Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is guilty as sin. She shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and has since orchestrated the perfect cover-up.

But we haven’t accounted for the idea that Drew could actually remember details of that night at any point.

If his memory unlocks secrets it wasn’t ready to reveal sooner, he may come to recall seeing Willow — or hearing that telltale ringtone — on his own volition.

This could send Drew spiraling into madness, fury, and strategic revenge plots right alongside his new bride.

If he senses she’s not actually genuine and only married him to clear her name, muddy the waters of how guilty she looked, and get her kids back, he could see to it that she loses everything in the end.

Vindictive is His Middle Name

Drew used to be a completely different person, if I’m being totally honest. So I can’t claim that he isn’t the type to give someone a hard time, or has never offered anyone any grace.

But this new version of Drew is nothing like his former self. He seems incapable of compassion and empathy. So I don’t expect him to even attempt to put himself in Willow’s shoes or excuse what she did.

At the same time, he could try desperately to lie to himself if he remembers her being there but still believes she’s remorseful and loves him. If he figures out that part isn’t true though, all bets are off.

Willow Could Never Plan for This

Willow has been cautious to cosign Drew’s plan to point the finger of blame at Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). She knew he would gravitate toward that plan in his own time anyway. She never needed to coax him along.

For Willow, if Drew was picturing someone else — anyone else — shooting him, that’s to her benefit to let him construct that lie in his mind. Keeping him distracted from thinking about the events of that night and trying to figure out what actually happened has become her playbook.

Still, as convicted as he has been about using his loss as her gain and trying to tie this crime to her ex-husband, Willow hasn’t worried much that he might figure out it was her. She hasn’t even considered that he might remember.

A Lose-Lose Game

Willow is committed to this marriage because she saw it as her best ticket out of this mess.

She’s certainly not going back to the life she once had with Michael, but she wants her children back in her life, and she doesn’t want to go down for the crime she carried out.

Marrying Drew gave her a perceived upper hand, but it could be the one that sinks her. If Drew grows hip to her game and decides he’s going to play dirty too — likely after she is acquitted and can’t be tried again, we’ll probably see these two fight to take each other out. Who will win?
