GH Spoilers: Willow Won’t Win At Framing Michael — And How She Frames Chase Instead

General Hospital Spoilers: Why Willow Won't Win At Framing Michael — And How She Could Frame Chase InsteadGeneral Hospital spoilers leak Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is committed to seeing her plan through to frame her ex-husband, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), for shooting her current husband, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

She’s already come clean with Drew and admitted she shot him twice in the back. His mind must be reeling as he replays his dedication to supporting her through the trial that ultimately found her not guilty of the crime.

Now, as she proceeds to try to ensure that Michael is thrown in a cell and forced to hand their children back over to her, a few key missteps may end up sealing someone else’s fate entirely. Watch out, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

Michael is Safer Than He Suspects

Michael is clearly shaken right now. He is expecting that the PCPD is going to build a case against him in Drew’s shooting, and even though he didn’t do it, he knows they need to produce some accountability in the shooting of a sitting Congressman.

Michael’s concern that the state will go after him — or whoever they can get — to fill that void is valid, but he may be putting the cart before the horse thinking they’re going to be successful.

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) hasn’t let on that she knows Willow is guilty; she’s by practicing by the book instead of betraying her law partner and best friend’s confidence.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confided the truth about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) claims and Willow’s guilt in Diane, and the savvy attorney is going her best to keep that under wraps, but that doesn’t mean she won’t know where to look if she has to prove Michael isn’t guilty by proving Willow is.

Wiley Doesn’t Know What He Doesn’t Know

Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) walking in on Chase as he laid Michael’s keys on the floor — sort of staging them — may have seemed unusual but not worth mentioning at the time.

But should Michael’s keychain and what it contains become a part of the investigation in the case against him, it’s going to seem all too convenient that the key to Drew’s place just happened to be on it. Michael is smarter than that.

He wouldn’t keep that key on his key ring, and if he did, he wouldn’t hang onto it after the crime. But explaining how it got there won’t be easy, unless Wiley intervenes, and it’s looking like he might.

Can Willow Survive This?

Willow never could have imagined that when she put that key on Michael’s key chain, it would so quickly end up in Chase’s hands. The detective raced over to Drew’s to confirm his suspicion, which was all too timely itself.

It’s hard to say what Willow had planned in setting Michael up or how she thought she would orchestrate that key being found where she left it, but she may have inadvertently contributed to it ending up looking like it was Chase who planted the key on Michael’s keychain.

Wiley’s testimony could make things look a whole lot different than they are, and it’s anyone’s guess whether Willow will fess up to having messed with her ex’s keys before Chase ever found them.
