GH Spoilers: Will Lulu And Nathan’s Kiss Shatter Maxie’s Fragile Heart?

General Hospital spoilers exclaim Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) just locked lips! We all knew it was coming, and yet it still pained and excited us all at the same time.

Every bit of it is wrong; don’t get it twisted. Lulu should be running for the nearest exit trying to keep herself from exploring whatever feelings she has developed for Nathan, and it’s clear she has known for a while now that they were growing.

So leaning on him in her time of need probably wasn’t the smartest move. Of course, it takes two to tango; I’m looking at you, Nathan. Is Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) just out of sight and out of mind? What gives, and what lies ahead?

How Many Relationships Just Shattered?

There are three relationships in the mix right now that stand to be obliterated by one alcohol-induced kiss.

Getting trapped together in a snowstorm wasn’t something Nathan or Lulu had planned, but I find it hard to believe neither of them were hoping those fireworks didn’t come along sometime soon during one of their many private heart to hearts.

I can’t be the only one who has noticed how much time these two have been spending together. If their friendship withstands this, or potentially turns into more, it stands to destroy the relationships both of them have with Maxie.

GH Spoilers Spill Nathan Make the First Move

Lulu might’ve been pretty inviting as she praised all of Nathan’s good features and remarked how she doesn’t know what she would do without him.

The guy has been theoretically flailing about trying to piece together where the last seven years of his life went, how to be a dad, and wondering if his wife will ever wake up — and suddenly he exits stage left for someone else?

I don’t buy it. I think this move gives more credibility to the idea that Nathan is not actually Nathan, sadly. I think he’s some sort of clone, imposter, or maybe even Peter August (Wes Ramsey) in disguise, back to ruin Maxie’s life and those of everyone around her.

That claim that he wants to be the man she sees in him was a bit too rich for someone who loves his wife the way Nathan loved Maxie before he “died.”

What About Maxie?

Word on the street is that Maxie is headed back on-screen soon. She’s on set filming scenes; so it’s just a matter of time before we see her — even if she’s not awake yet.

Might this mean Lulu and/or Nathan start making trips to Boston to clear their guilty consciences and sit by her bedside?

Will Lulu show up to paint Maxie’s nails and feed her stories of Nathan waiting for her, knowing all the while what she’s up to?

When Lulu was in a coma, Maxie didn’t move in on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), but she didn’t encourage him to bypass a new life with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) either, and maybe that bothers Lulu on some level she hasn’t revealed. Either way, revenge is ick, girl.

If Maxie wakes up to learn Nathan is back but falling for her bestie, and it breaks her heart, that’ll break Damien Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) for entirely other reasons, too. Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
