GH Spoilers: Will Jason Be The Key To Valentin’s Escape From Port Charles?

General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might assist Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in making his escape.

Although Jason is furious that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is entangled in Valentin’s issues and even hiding him in her attic, he may come to understand her reasoning during the week of March 9-13.

Jason Bursts In On Carly And Valentin, Confronts His Best Friend Over Her Choices

The General Hospital weekly preview features a scene of Jason bursting into Carly’s house while she’s engaged in an intimate conversation with her new partner, and “Stone Cold” appears furious.

Naturally, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) informed Jason about her mother’s situation during the episode on Friday, March 6; however, Jason is only aware of one aspect of the entire story.

As Jason and Carly prepare for a heated confrontation in the Monday, March 9 episode, the blonde will provide a compelling explanation for her perceived betrayal.

Jason is aware of Carly’s desperation to rescue Joss from the WSB and her anger towards Brennan for influencing her daughter’s career path. So while he may not fully support Carly’s choices, he might calm down and grasp her intentions.

Jason Doesn’t Trust Or Like Brennan, He May See Valentin As The Lesser Evil

Additionally, Jason doesn’t particularly like Brennan, so he might come to see Valentin as the lesser of two evils when it comes to Carly. If Jason learns about Carly’s plan, he’ll likely intervene just to tidy up her situation.

However, he might also appreciate the thought of Brennan finally being put in his place. Jason has no trust in Valentin whatsoever, but in a bid to prevent Carly from heading to Steinmauer herself, he’ll step in to assist the pair.

A significant part of this involves helping Valentin escape from Carly’s attic and possibly providing him with resources to go on the run again. Jason might even consider placing him in another safe location for the time being.

Valentin’s Daughter And Jason’s Son Are Involved

A fascinating aspect of this situation is that Valentin’s daughter and Jason’s son are romantically involved; awkward as it is, the two teens are experiencing first love.

Kissing cousins Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) are experiencing a bit of teenage romance, which means Jason’s reasons for aiding Valentin might not solely be about Carly, but also about Danny.

He may feel compelled to do everything possible to keep his son’s girlfriend at ease, knowing her father isn’t in immediate danger, at least for now.

General Hospital spoilers indicate that while Jason and Valentin may not currently be the best of friends, could the henchman’s help for the fugitive forge a connection between the two fathers?
