GH Spoilers: Who Really Killed Brennan – 5 Suspects in Explosive Metro Court Murder Mystery

Brennan’s death may not have been a simple drowning after all. With several Port Charles residents having motives, the hunt for his possible killer could deliver some major surprises.

General Hospital Spoilers: Discover The True Culprit Behind Brennan's MurderGeneral Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was recently found dead in the Metro Court pool, leaving many fans curious about how he ended up there.

The show is presenting an intriguing mystery that promises some thrilling twists and turns.

Key Takeaways:

  • Brennan may have been murdered after Ava’s drug left him disoriented before his mysterious plunge into the pool.
  • Nina, Anna and Tristan could become suspects, but each possibility raises new questions about motive and opportunity.
  • Hudson or a returning Jax could provide the real twist, potentially connecting Brennan’s death to a much larger WSB mystery.

Ava Drugged Brennan’s Drink

Ava Jerome (Maura West) had drugged Brennan’s drink, which left him quite disoriented as he began pressing various buttons in the elevator.

It’s conceivable that Brennan simply wandered off the elevator shortly after, fell into the pool, and drowned. However, that scenario wouldn’t make for much of a whodunit!

It honestly seems rather far-fetched for a sleeping pill to have such a profound effect on Brennan if that’s indeed what Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had Ava administer to him.

Since it wouldn’t be very dramatic for Brennan to accidentally fall into the pool, it appears more plausible that someone gave him a push and perhaps even held him underwater.

Nina Could Be A Suspect-She’s More Likely Than Willow

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be a potential suspect, especially since she recently made a public threat against Brennan, but she may come off as too predictable.

When Chris L. McKenna discussed his departure, he shared his hope that this would spark months of captivating television centered around the question, ‘Who killed Brennan?’

McKenna even proposed that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) could be the murderer, escalating to ‘full-on murder.’ However, this theory has a flaw, as Willow was at the Metro Court bar with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) the whole time.

Willow had already been drinking with Britt before Brennan left Ava’s table and appeared to still be with her when Brennan had that unfortunate fall at the pool.

Willow Had A Vested Interest In Keeping Brennan Alive

Moreover, Willow had a vested interest in keeping Brennan alive, as she was relying on him to provide her with blackmail material that would help her maintain control over her adversaries.

Additionally, it’s important to remember that Willow cannot be the sole solution to every mystery that the show presents!

We must not overlook the fact that Willow was previously unmasked as the stalker of Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) and later revealed to be the one who shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Perhaps it’s time for a new character to take the spotlight in this criminal storyline. What’s the fun in trying to figure out “whodunit” if it’s always the same perp?

Anna Could Be A Suspect, And So Could Tristan

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could be a potential suspect due to her mental instability, possibly influenced by “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) to expand her list of victims.

It’s also conceivable that the WSB aimed to eliminate Brennan, but one would expect a more discreet approach if that were true.

The WSB is adept at removing individuals without leaving evidence, which is worth considering.

Meanwhile, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) has been at odds with Brennan regarding the reports he’s required to submit. The show may eventually position this former WSB field agent as a suspect.

Hudson Parker Could Have Done The Deed

Another possible suspect is Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), who seems to be following orders from a nefarious figure like Jerry Jacks (last portrayed by Sebastian Roché) or someone similar.

It’s plausible that Hudson’s superior wanted Brennan out of the picture and assigned him the task. Additionally, there have been whispers about a potential recast of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher).

Could Jax have been motivated enough by Brennan’s involvement of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) with the WSB to eliminate him? If Jax isn’t truly off sailing the globe, he might have found a way to return to Port Charles with lethal intentions.
