GH Spoilers: Who Can Replace Kate Mansi as Kristina Corinthos-Davis?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kate Mansi has left the role of Kristina Corinthos-Davis on the ABC soap.

A report released on Sunday, May 24 indicated that Mansi wrapped up taping as Kristina in April.

The character is part of several interesting plot points so the logical question now is, will the soap recast the part, and if so with who?

Kristina’s Days are Numbered

According to Frank Valentini, General Hospital’s executive producer, the show supports Mansi’s decision to opt out of renewing her contract and she is welcome to return.

However, we should note that in January 2025 Valentini made a similar statement when Chad Duell left the role of Michael Corinthos and the role was recast a few months later.

Michael Corinthos Recast

Rory Gibson appeared on screens as the new Michael in May 2025 and he has been welcomed heartily by the fan base.

Mansi debuted as Kristina in 2023 after an unfortunate incident with the actress who had been in the role. Fans will recall that Lexie Ainsworth, who had played the character on and off since 2009, was let go after a DUI charge; she was later sentenced and did her time.

Will There be a New Kristina?

With Mansi off GH, many fans are hoping that Ainsworth could be a recast consideration. However, social media has been hot with chatter about other recast possibilities.

On X, @Isn’tDaveOne suggested DOOL alum Victoria Konefal (ex-Ciara Brady Weston) and @SourceRyan suggested two other options: Days of Our Lives (DOOL) alum Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez) or The Young and the Restless (Y&R) alum Allison Lanier (ex-Summer Newman).

Days of Our Lives’ Ciara does has a similar vibe to the sassy and brash Kristina, so Konefal would be a natural fit.

Mansi Out as Kristina

The social sphere reveals that GH fans are reacting strongly to Kristina leaving town especially now that the role is heating up with a possible romance with Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean).

For now, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, May 26, hint that Kristina receives huge news and we predict that this could be the launch of Mansi’s exit from the show.
