Trina’s Outrage
Still upset from finding out that Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) was the other driver on the road that drove away from Curtis and Jordan Ashford’s (Donnell Turner, Tanisha Harper) wreck, Trina vents.
She tells Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) she doesn’t want anything to do with that woman ever again! She is totally fed up with the Quartermaines and everything they stand for, and most likely won’t be fulfilling that music contract.
She likely still keeps her friendship with Gio, however, since he’s as turned off by his relatives as much as she is.
But the music career will have to go by the wayside as long as Brook Lynn has anything to do with it!
Willow’s Surprise Visitor
In the meantime, Brook Lynn’s husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) went to the Quartermaine gatehouse in the middle of the night, seeking comfort from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)!
Chase is apologizing to Willow, telling her that Brook Lynn was the one who tried to frame her for the accident on Route 91.
Question is, will Chase wind up in Willow’s bed as well, even though his marriage to Brook Lynn is legal and binding?
Chase cruelly told Brook Lynn before he left the Quartermaine mansion he couldn’t even stand to look at her!
It’s practically guaranteed Willow will pounce on the opportunity to get Chase back, even though she dumped him when he was in a wheelchair for Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)!
Ned Tries To Comfort His Daughter
In the meantime, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was probably headed out the door after Gio and Emma, but found Brook Lynn a tearful mess on the stairs, her telling him she’d lost Chase.
Ned tells Brook Lynn he’s afraid she won’t like his answer-the question likely being if Chase ever really loved her at all.
In Ned’s opinion, Brook Lynn is probably better off without him, baby Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) or not-Ned can be her father figure!
It’s going to be a long, sad night for Brook Lynn-who wanted to tell the truth all along. But since the truth came out so many months later, Chase doesn’t hear anything but lies!
Emma’s Chastisement
Elsewhere, Emma chastises Gio about the meaning of family, as she tells him you don’t turn your back on family, even when they disappoint you.
Gio doesn’t look super receptive to Emma’s chastisement, the Quartermaines closing ranks, as he put it, to protect each other bringing back the pain of the lies about his adoption.
Even as they continue to talk, Emma has no idea how she’ll be tested over her words about not turning her back on family.
Will she be able to calm him down, to understand the spot Brook Lynn was in with Tracy covering up Brook Lynn’s wreck for so many months? Or will Gio again reject the maternal side of his family?
Josslyn Interrogates Hudson
In the meantime, elsewhere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) interrogates Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) over her father’s company, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises.
She wants to know why he’s so invested, since basically, he’s an underling, although with a upper management position.
Hudson will get an eyeful, but right now, it’s Josslyn’s eyes that are trained on him-to read every response, interpret every piece of body language.
It’s obvious Josslyn has been looking at the books, and studying every piece of the company she can to find clues, especially since it’s her WSB undercover mission.
Will Hudson give her the answers she wants, or will be act dodgy?
Anna’s Fatal Decision
Anna, still with gun on Britt Westbourne (Finola Hughes) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) on Mount Emerson, ponders her fatal decision as she says “ I have to end this now”.
But what is it she’s ending-her obsession with killing Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) heirs, did Jason manage to get through to her?
He brought up Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) children, reminding her that James West (Gary James Fuller) and Bailey Lu Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski) were also Cesar’s heirs.
That seemed to stop her in her tracks, even if for a brief moment. So what will Anna end-her murderous mission or Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and possibly Jason?
