General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, November 4, tease Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) is ticked off, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gives some advice.

Key Takeaways
- Tristan clashes with Willow at General Hospital
- Carly advises Detective Fitzpatrick to follow the evidence
- Drew appears ready to throw Ava under the bus
- Nina loses her temper with WSB Chief Baines
- Brennan’s death investigation continues to raise questions
Tristan’s Ticked Off
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is apparently trying to throw her weight around at General Hospital, as Tristan is really ticked off! He eyeballs the Congresswoman and tells her she can’t force him to do anything!
Is she perhaps trying to find out certain things about Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) death investigation that are totally none of her business?
Or does she even know about it, considering nothing has been released from the police station, except perhaps the body to the morgue?
Tristan makes it crystal clear to Willow that he’s nobody’s puppet, and that includes a politician throwing her weight around!
Carly’s Advice
In the meantime, Carly is still being questioned at the PCPD, and she gives Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) some advice.
She tells him to start over and let the evidence lead him to the real killer. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence, but no proof that either she or Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) killed Brennan.
Presumably, with the toxicology report not yet back, they don’t know why he drowned—no one mentioned whether he knew how to swim or not!
That proves nothing more than that he possibly was so impaired that he fell in the pool, and with no blunt trauma, he didn’t hit his head!
As Brennan’s investigation has already led to Nina’s arrest, the evidence remains a major concern.
Drew Sounds Like He’s Getting Nervous – But Ready, Willing And Able To Throw Ava Under The Bus!
Elsewhere, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) sounds like he’s getting nervous, but is ready, willing, and able to throw Ava Jerome (Maura West) under the bus, despite her many warnings.
She has told him all along that if she goes down for Brennan’s death, he’s going down with her, and of course, she’s lawyered up—and left Drew out of the loop!
It’s obvious that Drew is referring to Nina as he tells Ava, “You better pray that she stays right where she is!”
Nina is the WSB’s most viable suspect, but they don’t know that WSB Station Chief William Baines (Alimi Ballard) already told her they made a rush to judgment, and she’s no longer in Steinmauer.
Drew’s still a lot more worried about Ava than he is about himself going down!
Meanwhile, Ava’s knowledge of Drew’s scheme could become a serious problem for both of them.
Nina’s Fury!
In the meantime, Nina is with Baines in the WSB holding area close to Port Charles—and she’s not at all happy!
She loses it at him and shouts, “You will get out of here and take that slop with you!” as she sweeps the table clear of the food and drink brought to her!
General Hospital fans will remember that the last time she was seen with Baines, she kept wanting to prove her innocence.
Drew was the one who framed her, putting Brennan’s wallet in her car after breaking into it.
As Nina struggles to secure her freedom, she may have to consider her options.
Will Baines now tell her Brennan’s body has been found, or is the PCPD withholding information from the WSB? That could create legal complications!
Editor’s Take
Drew seems awfully confident that Nina will remain locked up, but if Ava decides to protect herself, his entire scheme could unravel!
Do you think Ava will turn on Drew to save herself, or will Nina find another way to prove her innocence? Let us know in the comments below!
