Sonny wants Jude far, far away from Port Charles – in the netherworld, if he could! But Sonny has walked away from the mob. In the old days, he’d have put out a hit on him.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has already tried to put the fear of God in Jude when he darkened the door of the Quartermaine mansion and wanted to see Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
He backed off but said he would be back, claiming he was Phoebe’s father. From there, he went to Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office, and she was worried!
She seemed to be more worried about the “hi” from his father, Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché), but his claim to be Phoebe’s father, with proof, did give her pause.
When he brought up Ethan Lovett’s (Christian Howard) name, she didn’t think twice about keeping mum.
As Jude’s custody battle threatens the Quartermaine family, Sonny may decide it’s time to get involved.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Is Frantic
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is frantic, and she’ll go to her “Uncle” Sonny for help. She is extremely worried that Phoebe is in danger.
Brook Lynn remembers all too well the terror caused by Jude’s father, Jerry, to the Quartermaine family, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told Jason that Jude’s just like him!
She had never met Jude at that time, but her father, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (formerly Ingo Rademacher), had warned her about him.
Jerry was largely responsible for the death of Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon), who suffered a heart attack during a hostage crisis.
And Jerry did even worse things than that – including poisoning the Port Charles water supply!
With Sonny preparing to confront Jude, Brook Lynn may finally have someone powerful on her side.
Did Jude Inherit His Father’s Craftiness?
One big question is whether Jude inherited his father’s craftiness. If he has, then Sonny may not be able to devise a trap that Jude won’t see coming!
Jerry is a criminal genius, and there’s a good chance that Jude is too. And no one has heard from Jax for months, so there’s that.
Jax and Sonny were never friends, but Sonny was Josslyn’s stepfather for several years and wants to protect her as well, even though she’s coming after him!
Jerry was always one step ahead and even managed to escape from Steinmauer. From what Jude told Alexis, Jerry’s still alive and well.
As Sonny prepares to make Jude an enticing offer, the confrontation could turn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

I wouldn’t underestimate Jude just because he’s new to Port Charles. If he’s anything like Jerry, Sonny could be walking into a trap of his own!
