‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 8: Molly’s Tough Choice, Martin Returns, Sonny Warns Carly & Ric’s New Case

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 8 tease Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor)  makes an offer, while Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has questions.

Elsewhere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) catches up with her older brother who just got back in town, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and might have a job for him.

Justine’s Offer

Justine is with Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and makes her an offer, which will give Molly a difficult decision to make.

She asks Molly, who is just getting ready to go on a big tour with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to promote her book, whether she wants her book, or the biggest legal case of her career?

Molly indeed faces a difficult choice, being forced to decide between her personal aspirations and her legal career.

Which will she choose-and which case is Justine intending to give her?

Isaiah Talks To Ric

At the Metro Court Gardens, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) talks to Ric Lansing, (Rick Hearst) who looks at him intently, taking in every word Isaiah has to say.

Isaiah tells him about two situations-possibly having retained him as defense counsel in the upcoming car wreck case, and he tells Ric he’d also like to explore the possibility of a civil suit.

It sounds like Isaiah wants to sue Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for pain and suffering and loss of livelihood, related to Curtis slugging him and causing him grievous injury, the loss of function in his hand.

Curtis, clearly was at fault because he just went ballistic and slugged Isaiah off his feet, into a table, causing his hand injury, just because he saw him feeling Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) stomach.

He was feeling the baby kick, and that was Portia’s decision to let him do so, not Curtis’s, because Portia is no longer his wife-but Curtis raged, it’s his baby!

Jordan Has Questions

In the meantime, Jordan has questions for Curtis, and it sounds like he is likely considering a plea bargain, considering her question is “What kind of deal are they offering?”

Curtis will need to make a decision, and it sounds like, rather quickly-so he will need to choose an attorney as well, unless he thinks he should represent himself.

Has he never heard the all too true saying, about a lawyer representing himself has a fool for a client?

The reverse would be even more true!

Laura And Martin Catch Up

Martin has finally returned to Port Charles, after being away for several months and Laura might have a job for him.

She tells him there might be something else that he could help her with.

Laura has won a victory over Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) but there may be some issues that her grandchildren could have, in particular, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

It looks like Rocco’s half great-uncle, Ric is going to be busy with other cases, even though he represented Rocco before.

Laura may be talking to Martin about helping with Rocco.

Sonny Gives Carly A Warning

After witnessing Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) much too public display of affection behind General Hospital, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gives his ex-wife a warning!

According to SOD summer spoilers, he’ll eventually go to the extreme of getting Brick (Stephen A. Smith) break the couple up!

But Carly stands firm against her ex-husband’s pushy advice, especially since it’s none of his business who she dates!

Carly tells Sonny she is not changing her mind on this!

Lucas Vents To Liz

It looks like Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is pretty out of it, possibly sleeping on a couch in an office at GH-he had a very traumatic day finding out Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) died for nothing.

He talked to his aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West) about how Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) told him that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) had fabricated Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) Huntington’s disease.

He had her injecting herself with syringes full of saline, gaslighting her that she was dying, and Marco died for stealing some to reverse-engineer.

It’s clear that Lucas is still beating himself up for talking Marco into doing it to prove he wasn’t in league with his evil father-it sounds like Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) finds him.

As he wakes up, he demands, “What are you doing here?”
