'GH' Spoilers Wednesday, January 7: Trina’s Conflicted, Dante’s Doubtful, Drew's Bad Decision

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, January 7 tease Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) conflicted while Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) doubtful. Plus, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is worried, and with good reason!

Trina’s Conflicted

Trina and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are away from the  courtroom, presumably during recess as they discuss what they remembered after Michael’s testimony.

They had heard a ringtone, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” after the second shot, and Michael had said Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) had called him and he didn’t answer, mentioning “his son’s ringtone”.

But Trina is conflicted and tells Kai that they need to drop this and stay out of it. That’s probably out of self-protection, considering they were hiding in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) bedroom the night he was shot!

Gio’s Condition For Helping

Elsewhere, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has a condition to meet in exchange for helping someone with something.

It would seem obvious that the person would tell him what he or she needs Gio’s help with, but Gio says they have to say what it is!

Gio looks a little doubtful, perhaps with a twinge of suspicion, or maybe it’s just a healthy amount of caution.

Might this person have asked his help before, and things got a little messed up, and that’s the reason for his hesitation?

Dante’s Doubtful

In the meantime, Dante is at the Port Charles Police Department talking to Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Dante tells Nathan he doesn’t trust himself to do it-question is, do what?

Dante just had been forced to testify again about what happened the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot and about his brother, Michael.

Dante was a little doubtful that he wasn’t objective over his brother, but he was blindsided at Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) testimony in court.

He’d realized, like everyone else, that Michael lied about his whereabouts during the timeframe of the shooting.

Perhaps Dante doesn’t trust himself to put Michael under arrest, seeming that’s where things are headed?

Michael’s Worried

In the meantime, Michale’s worried, and with good reason, as he talks to Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Michael is likely talking about his alibi lies when he tells her he’s just hoping that his lies haven’t cost him his children.

The custody case over Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) is still way in the future.

He realizes that even if he’s not arrested and convicted for the attempted murder of Drew, if Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is exonerated, all this will make him look just as bad!

Tracy’s Shocking Conclusion

In the meantime, Tracy is still talking to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) about trying to help Michael, and also where Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may have gotten her information.

The realization that someone must have overheard her and Michael talking about him being on Crestview Drive outside Drew’s house the night he was shot has hit her hard.

They may have come up with two men who could have overheard the conversation and turned it into Alexis; Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

It sounds like the culprit choices have been narrowed down to one, considering what Tracy says. She tells Lulu, if it is him, then help him!

Drew Wants No Doubt!

In the meantime, Drew is with Alexis, and it appears they’re in her legal office, given the legal books in a bookcase behind them lining a wall.

Drew tells Alexis that he wants no doubt that’s why she’s putting him on the stand-Drew will no doubt seal the deal of Michael’s arrest and conviction!

Or, at least that will be his intention as he gets his turn to testify. Chances are, Drew may lose his cool while on the stand, if he thinks it’s going to go a different way than he wants it to turn out!
