‘GH’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 19: Brennan’s Chilling Warning, Ric’s Bombshell, Ava Calls Out Drew

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 19 tease Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) asking for advice, while elsewhere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) argue.

Ric Lansing Asks Advice

Ric gets an eyeful, and he goes to his brother Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for advice; at Sonny’s house, he tells him that a situation has come up that he might need his input on.

It’s difficult to say whether this situation is something personal or relating to their business relationship, which Sonny seems to be focusing solely on Corinthos Coffee.

But then, the auction of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) properties has not taken place yet either, and part of that is Sonny’s piers where his coffee business was located.

This sounds, however, like it might be something more personal, since Ric gets an eyeful of something, and it’s certainly not Corinthos Coffee coffee beans!

Sonny will offer his blessing to someone … so might it be Ric, regarding this situation?

Ava Jerome’s Declaration

In the meantime, Ava and Drew appear to be having a lunch meeting somewhere, and they start to argue.

She looks him in the eye and tells him she had no idea that hell had frozen over!

He’s assuming her agreement with him on something, and she’s telling him no way; either he’s hearing what he wants to hear and misunderstanding, or he’ll reap the “harvest of the spelling of the word ‘assumption’.”

We all know that old saying about how to spell the word “assume”; only Ava isn’t including herself in that statement- only Drew!

So will Drew admit he’s wrong, or will he prove the hypothesis where his assumption is concerned?

Willow Cain Blasts A Warning

Across town, General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday’s show indicate that Willow is at her forced-to-be-in home, the Quartermaine gatehouse, as she blasts a warning to someone who’s obviously not wanted there!

She is obviously angry and obviously offended, as she warns them that walking away unscathed won’t be as simple as they think.

Might Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) have decided to go all Bensonhurst on Willow, in spite of her hesitant agreement with her grandmother Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) decision?

Or is it someone else who Willow is so angry at who’s come by for a visit? Willow doesn’t seem to be in a good frame of mind!

Nina Reeves’ Warning

Elsewhere, Jack warns Nina about her daughter as he advises, “Pull yourself back, Nina, before Willow takes you down with her!

Nina is starting to see her daughter for what she really is, and hopefully, in an objective way. She certainly can’t blame herself or her lack of mothering, since Nina didn’t raise Willow.

But neither should she think she can “fix” her with motherly love either-she should have learned that lesson with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

It doesn’t matter that she didn’t know Nelle was Willow’s twin until right after she died!
