Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has some news for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) as she approaches them at the door.

She is likely advising that the adoption papers need signing and tells them the only decision they have to make is whether it’s them who’ll be Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) parents.

Brook Lynn and Chase will celebrate a milestone, and adopting the baby girl certainly qualifies as one, as the two almost have a look of disbelief on their faces.

The two have gone through so much as they’ve tried to become parents, only to find out Chase’s swimmers weren’t strong enough.

Soon, their formal status as Phoebe’s parents will become reality!

Ava Jerome’s Shock

General Hospital spoilers for the Tuesday, August 4 show note that Ava and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are at the Metro Court Gardens.

As per the preview, it looks like Ava is making Trina an important offer, possibly connected to Trina’s art career or the gallery.

Ava is likely to be shocked as Trina tells her it’s an incredible offer, but she’s afraid she can’t accept it!

Trina’s artistic talents have branched out into music, and she and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) had been offered a record contract, although it’s on hold.

The recording company guy, Simon (Grady Eldridge), had planned to promote Gio and Trina as a couple, but they refused to fake a romance.

Brook Lynn is working on the problem! Still, Ava will be happy for Trina as her mentor, but will hear an earful, whether good or bad.

Willow Cain’s Idea

In the meantime, Willow, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are catching up at the Metro Court Gardens as Willow has an idea.

Certainly, she can’t be referring to her own case she was acquitted of, as she says excitedly, it would be in the best interests of the PCPD to reopen the investigation!

Exactly which investigation might Willow be referring to, and for what reason should it be reopened?

Willow’s got something up her sleeve; that’s a promise … she nearly always does. But the wording “in the best interests” carries a certain connotation. Is it a suggestion, or a threat?

Carly Spencer’s Plan Backfires

Lastly, Carly is with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in her kitchen, and Carly tells Michael, “Speaking of surprises, Josslyn has big news!”

This is the first time in months that Michael has seen his sister, and it seems that long since he’s seen his mother, as well!

Carly is still trying to get Joss to quit the WSB, and even more so, after the conversation with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) when she was with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

It sounds like Carly tells Michael that his sister is a WSB agent, probably thinking he can talk her into quitting.

But the plan will backfire: either Michael approves of Josslyn’s career or neither can talk her into quitting!
