GH Spoilers: Tracy’s In Crisis Mode – What’s Got Her Rattled?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) in crisis mode-but what’s got her rattled?

Tracy is usually calm, cool, and collected and makes a point to always control things around her, so what in the world could have her spooked?

Tracy Has Control Issues, So This Is Obviously A Situation She Can’t Control

The one thing that can drive a control freak cuckoo is a situation they’re unable to control, and Tracy certainly does have control issues-and sometimes goes to extremes.

Long-time viewers will remember the time Tracy tried to control Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) by withholding his heart medication, resulting in a heart attack.

As it was, Edward actually faked that heart attack as a loyalty test, which she failed miserably; but aside from that Tracy has done everything from kidnapping to blackmailing and scheming to keep control.

Tracy is also the queen of the cover-up; she once covered up a hit and run by her brother Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon).

She blackmailed her son Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) to keep quiet; Tracy’s crisis mode may be caused by a very similar situation!

Nothing Aside From The Quartermaine Money Is More Important Than The Quartermaine Name

Nothing aside from the Quartermaine money is more important to Tracy than the Quartermaine name-she proved that with all the hoity-toityness she regarded Ronnie Bard (Erika Slezak) with!

That’s also why Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) had to keep his life as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) secret, and Tracy still regards Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) as being socially beneath her.

However, that doesn’t apply to to Ned and Lois’ daughter, Tracy’s granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton); she’ll do anything for her granddaughter!

And when she realizes Brook Lynn is worried about the night that Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Donnell Turner, Tanisha Harper) crashed and that she may be involved, Tracy will take quick action!

Brook Lynn Swerved To Avoid A Car, Worrying She Was A Tiny Bit Tipsy

Brook Lynn slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting a car that night on the road, on the way to Charlie’s Pub to see her son Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) perform-although she was late.

She did, however see him pick up his guitar and play as Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) performed, and even showed Tracy a video that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had sent.

But when she and the rest of the Quartermaines heard about the bad wreck on Route 91, and her husband Patrolman Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) said he investigated it, she started to worry.

Brook Lynn’s worry is that she may have been a tiny bit tipsy, and maybe she was the one in the wrong lane, and she didn’t even check what happened to the other car!

Although she realizes that she may not have caused the accident, she still left, not wanting to miss Gio’s performance.

Tracy Goes Into Crisis Mode, And Rushes To Create A Cover-Up

Brook Lynn was worrying out loud in her bedroom, without knowing at the same time, Jordan is waking up in the hospital-hearing that Jordan will be okay is a relief.

However, since her and Brook Lynn’s car came so close to a head-on collision, the prospect of Jordan remembering recognizing Brook Lynn in the car she swerved to avoid is not!

So Tracy, in a move to save face and prevent a Quartermaine family scandal, and of course, protect Brook Lynn, goes into crisis mode and rushes to create a cover-up!

But her most daunting challenge will be to do damage control, before she even knows if they’ll need it!
