General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 30 reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reconnect, while Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) arrives.
Plus, at the hospital, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) opens up to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Key Takeaways:
- Jason and Anna reconnect over their shared trauma.
- Serena returns to Port Charles with questions for Lucy.
- Isaiah shocks Britt with his courtroom revenge plan.
- Tracy continues plotting against Lucy and Deception.
- Brook Lynn warns Michael she’ll stop Willow from getting near Chase at any cost.
Jason And Anna Reconnect
Back in Port Charles, Anna’s the next stop on Jason’s reconnection tour, and they talk over the things they’ve been through.
Both were victims in captivity of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), and Jason tells Anna it seems like they have both been through a lot.
Question is, will Jason tell Anna everything he’s been through, or will he spare her, feeling perhaps she was through worse?
What Jason went through would be similar to what happened Anna’s past love Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) years ago, when everyone thought he was dead.
It doesn’t sound like the “accommodations” have changed much since then, which nearly twenty years ago-he’d been held in that Turkish prison for twenty!
Tracy Talks Torture
In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) catches up with her friend Stella Henry (Vernée Watson) over tea and sympathy, with a side of torture!
Of course, Tracy’s exaggerating but takes pleasure in telling Stella that torturing Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is just a perk!
Tracy was not at all happy with Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase’s (Amanda Setton) bright idea to sell her shares of Deception to Lucy in exchange for a favor!
But the damage had been done by the time the second blow came, which was Maxie Jones (most recently Kirsten Storms) leaving the company. But at least she gave her shares to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)!
Serena Arrives
Speaking of Lucy, Serena has arrived and she has questions for her surrogate mother, who also raised her; she wants to know what she’s really doing in Port Charles!
Serena grew up with Lucy so she knows when Lucy’s got a plot going, and she’s sure she’s to be involved in it. Serena has substantial shares in the company as well, which Lucy originally founded.
One can’t blame Lucy for being resentful that her business, her baby, has practically been taken out from under her in the past. So, of course she wants it back, and she’ll do anything to get it!
Isaiah Opens Up To Britt
At General Hospital, Isaiah opens up to Britt, and it’s pretty clear that the topic of discussion is Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), with court coming soon.
There’s the one legal issue of Curtis trying to blame Isaiah for his and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) car crash, which Isaiah wasn’t involved in.
And then there’s the other, which is Isaiah’ s civil suit against Curtis for ruining his hand, wanting financial compensation for pain and suffering, and loss of livelihood.
Isaiah tells a surprised looking Britt that it’s his goal to nail Curtis to the wall in court! It seems Britt’s surprise comes from not realizing Isaiah had revenge in him!
Michael And Brook Lynn Catch Up
At a table near the Metro Court Pool, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) must be telling Brook Lynn about Willow Cain’s-soon to be Willow Tait-(Katelyn MacMullen) divorce.
Brook Lynn has her hackles up, anticipating what Willow’s next move is likely to be. Brook Lynn is full of fire and venom as she tells her cousin Michael what she thinks might happen.
She’s pretty sure Willow will go after her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) as soon as her divorce is final. She tells Michael, “She will get her claws into Chase over my cold, dead, body!
