‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, July 23: Willow Rejects Murder, Anna Makes Her Move & Sonny Seeks the Truth

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 23 tease Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a demand, while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) makes an offer.

Willow’s Demand

It looks like Willow and her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be in the Quartermaine boathouse, as they become embroiled in an argument!

The subject of the argument is Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) and how to keep controlling him, since he’s starting to regain his speech-and some mobility as well.

Willow had been getting the paralytic used to dose Drew and simulate locked-in syndrome from Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota) who’s in jail awaiting trial.

Willow is angry as she gets in Nina’s face, and making a demand. She demands, “You will control Drew without taking drastic action!

Tracy Lets Loose At A Deception Cosmetics Meeting

Tracy Quartermaine, (Jane Elliot) Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) appear to be having a meeting in the Deception Cosmetics office.

Tracy is angry and lets loose at a shocked Brook Lynn, asking “What is preventing you from using a grieving child to steal Maxie (Jones, most recently Kirsten Storms)?

No wonder Brook Lynn’s shocked-how dare she suggest using James West’s (Gary James Fuller) grief over Not Nathan West/Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) to make Maxie come home to Port Charles?

That doesn’t even sound like common decency; Maxie, Damian Spinelli, (Bradford Anderson) Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Bailey Lu Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski) went to the Grand Canyon.

James had chosen to stay home to have time with who everyone thought was his dad!

Laura Talks To Dante

In the meantime, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is in the mayor’s office talking to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). It looks like a serious meeting as she tells him, “I’m sorry that’s going to end today”.

She may be telling him that Anna is taking back the police commissioner’s  post sooner than expected, and Dante will go back to being a regular detective.

Dante is probably not going to be too upset over that, but Laura might give him a heads up about something she overheard as well.

Namely, missing files regarding Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting at Pier 55!

Anna’s Offer

In the meantime, Anna is giving an offer to Patrolman Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at the Port Charles Police Department. She tells Chase she needs to know that she can trust him, so it sounds like she’s offering h

im his detective position back. On the other hand, she may have a special assignment for him, which would involve detective work as well-possibly looking for the lost files, which she deduced were taken.

Her deduction is on target-but not only were they taken, they were destroyed, as Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) told her the files were never received.

Sonny’s Heart-To-Heart

Elsewhere, Sonny asks Rocco if he can take a break for a bit-it’s important.

Sonny now knows it was Rocco who shot Cullum and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was covering for him.

Sonny has a heart-to-heart talk with Rocco about what happened, and possibly about the rift between him, his sister Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Rocco seems to be distancing himself from his older half-brother Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) as well.

Will Sonny be able to get Rocco to open up about all that has happened over the past few months? Or will Rocco choose to close up and keep it inside?
