‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, July 2: Cullum’s Escape, Sidwell’s Blackmail, Carly’s Fight & Joss’ Heroic Mission

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 2 tease Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) try to escape a second time.

In the meantime, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) tries to escape with the prototype, and at the Jerome Art Gallery, Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) blackmails Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to help him escape!

Ava And Ethan Plot A Rescue?

It looks like Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) are still in the storage room at her art gallery, as Ava tells him they have to do something NOW.

No doubt they are worried about Sonny and Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) as Sidwell’s still holding a gun to her head.

They seem to be  peeking out, on the outside of the fence, as they’re hearing the goings on in the gallery, and trying to figure out a plan.

Ethan’s gluteus maximus gunshot wound isn’t helping matters any, and Ava has been fussing about his need to get to a hospital soon!

Neither Ethan nor Ava want to leave Sonny fend for himself when Sidwell seems to be the only one with a gun-will they plot a rescue?

Liesl And Joss’s Second Try

After encountering a goon at the door the first time they got it open, Liesl and Joss give it another try at escaping.

Now Liesl has two different color wires she is getting ready to touch to each other, and she asks Joss if she’s ready, and Joss, says yeah, although fear shows in her face.

Are they trying to disable the lighting for the whole castle to try and make a getaway?

And the more important question, will they succeed this time; General Hospital spoilers predict they will!

Anna Is Grateful

In France, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is grateful that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) tested out her theory, as she tells her she was right about everything!

Felicia is no doubt updating Anna about what Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) updated her on, even though it looks as though Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) may have escaped.

James West (Gary James Fuller) was upset that his “dad” was leaving again, especially after he told him that he did something wrong, but no matter what he heard, “Nathan West” loved the little boy.

Felicia will undoubtedly give Anna all the details that she knows about, and they should be working on getting Anna home.

Cullum Tries To Escape With The Prototype

In the meantime, Cullum is outside with a group of his goons, trying to escape with the prototype which he intends to bring online at the testing area he spoke about earlier.

However, there is an unknown element-and Cullum asks if it’s been contained.

This looks like the same area where Z (John Oliver) arrives in a helicopter, which will happen either July 2, 3 or 6^th according to his appearance schedule.

Upcoming spoilers tease that somehow Josslyn will be the one who keeps Cullum from getting away with the prototype and Z will call her a hero.

Sidwell Blackmails Sonny To Help Him Escape

Back  at  the gallery, Sidwell blackmails Sonny to help him escape-still holding a gun close range to Justine’s head!

Sidwell is menacing as he tells Sonny I want to get away, and he thinks Sonny is just the man to help him do that!

Ava and Ethan are still in the storeroom as well, trying to figure out if there’s any way they can help, although Ethan’s priority is protecting Ava.

Will there be a last minute solution to their problems; who’ll come out ahead?

Carly’s Battle

In Wyndemere, Carly continues to battle with Agent Harker (Matt Merchant) who Cullum ordered to kill her, after taking a swipe at him with a fire poker!

Carly cries out loudly as he appears to grab her by the leg as she’s trying to crawl away!

Who’ll arrive to save her-might Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) come to her rescue, clobbering the agent like he took out the other goon?

Something’s gotta give, and quickly!
