Britt Westbourne Opens Up
At the Metro Court Pool, Britt is there for a swim when she notices Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) is working.
She opens up to him, saying she wishes she could just figure out a way to take it away from her; she’s likely referring to her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Liesl has no closure for the loss of Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), and she wants to bury her son-no one knows anything!
Grief is a terrible thing when there are no answers, and no closure, and no way to find acceptance.
Rocco may only be fourteen or fifteen years old, but he is wise and understanding beyond his years.
Emma Scorpio-Drake Vents
In the meantime, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday’s show reveal that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) will vent to her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
She’s extremely frustrated with the situation she’s having with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and his always having to do music with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
In fact, she’s so frustrated that she sounds like she’s ready to give up, as she says, “And then, before I know it, Gio and I are going to drift apart.”
It’s as if destiny is trying to force them apart, only it’s not destiny, it’s the music business and the record label guy, Simon (Grady Eldridge) in particular.
Every time they’ve tried to plan a date lately, they can never coordinate their schedules!
Stella Henry Worries
At the Robinson house, Stella worries to Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), who’s sitting with her on the couch.
It’s clear they’re worried about Trina possibly cutting Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) out of her life.
Stella grouses, “If they escalate things, she might cut them out completely!”
You would think she’d be more worried about what’s gone on at the Port Charles Courthouse, since the notification was made that the jury’s made their decision.
That’s where Curtis is, and likely Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and most likely, Trina’s there too; she will be left reeling!
Willow’ Cain’s Threatened
During the General Hospital August 13 episode, Willow is in the Quartermaine breakfast room, as Michael threatens her that he finally has proof she shot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina told Michael the whole story, including how they weren’t able to testify in her hearing, that they were there, and how when they heard Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) ringtone, they recognized it.
He called Willow just as she was shooting Drew twice in the back! More than likely, she will assume it was Drew who told Michael, since Michael will protect his sources!
The Verdict’s In
Lastly, Willow may not be the only one blindsided and feeling threatened, as Curtis stands to attention in the courthouse.
He was given an option to take a plea bargain, but he turned it down. He looks startled as the judge says, “I find the defendant”…and the sentence is cut off.
If Curtis is convicted, there is no appeal after turning down a plea bargain, and he did so against legal advice. So the big question is now: will he be found innocent or guilty?
