General Hospital spoilers have confirmed that Finola Hughes is back on se and filming new episodes of the ABC soap.
But, is she filming scenes as Anna Devane or as somebody else? There’s already one impostor reeking havoc in Port Charles, is there a second one headed to Port Charles?
Anna Comes Home
Fan fave Anna Devane has been in a psychiatric hospital in Europe for months now. When her granddaughter Emma Scorpio-Drake tracked her down earlier this year, she was horrified by the visit with her grandmother.
The seasoned WSB agent was having some sort of manic episode and didn’t even know her own name. Anna kept ranting to her granddaughter about Cesar Faison. Emma made the heartbreaking decision to leave Anna in the hospital and returned to Port Charles without her.
Recently on General Hospital, Emma began to revisit the decision to leave her grandmother in the hospital. Mac and Felicia have also been in contact with her doctors, all signs are pointing to them bringing her back to Port Charles.
Finola Hughes has been filming for a few weeks now, which means Anna should be back on the canvas in early June. But, will it really be Anna?
Is That You Alex?
Longtime General Hospital viewers know that Anna has an identical twin named Alex Devane who casually steals her identity from time to time.
Spoilers hint that when Anna comes home, she’ll be back to her old self. Her friends and family will be thrilled by her miraculous recovery, but could something else be going on right now?
Nobody from Port Charles has visited Emma’s grandmother at the hospital in months. It’s very possible that Alex swapped places with her sister at some point, Anna’s family would be none the wiser.
This would be the perfect opportunity for Alex to waltz in and steal Anna’s life, it’s not like she would notice.
